With lyrics that include playing DOTA,
I-removals mo na yan, aral aral ka na lang, puro DOTA ka na lang laging talo ka naman
over use of social media,
Ang problema sa estudyante puro FB magdamag at pagdating ng exam di naman makapalag
and other things that veer away students from concentrating on their studies.
Meanwhile, in an interview with ABS-CBN News by one of the persons behind the viral video, he shared that it was just spur of the moment how the video was conceptualized.
Chinoy Aller recalled that he was just walking one day when he heard the song “Hayaan Mo Sila” by Ex Batallion. And then suddenly he thought of the line which became the chorus of the parody lyrics.
Sobrang spur of the moment idea n’ya.Naglalakad kasi ako to work one day eh pinapakinggan ko yung song na ‘Hayaan Mo Sila,’ Tas bigla kong naisip ‘yong line.
He also shared that it took them 3 weeks to finish the song and the music video. And that they did not expect that it will go viral like the original one.
“Nag-hope kami na sana marami manood. ‘Di ko masyado in-expect na 300,000 kasi 7,000 ‘yong highest viewed video namin before namin in-“upload ‘yan, aniya. Siguro kasi maraming naka-relate? ‘Yun karamihan ng comments eh, ‘Natamaan ako!’ or ‘Parang ako lang ‘to ah.”
